The Social Welfare Society at the Commecs Institute of Business and Emerging Sciences (CIBES) organised an event for collecting donations for the disabled, at their Share Faisal campus. The affair was held in collaboration with the Pakistan Association of the Blind, on Sunday.

“Helping the disabled is the corporate and social responsibility of all those who have the ability to do so,” said CIBES Director Arif Dossal on the occassion. The Registrar and Deputy Director of the institute, Yousuf Khan, said that CIBES is a non-profit entity. “We are ready to support all noble causes for the development of a better society.”

“We are trying to make visually impaired people respectable and productive members of the society,” said the association’s chief Mehmood Ali. He also appreciated the role of CIBES in this regard. The Director Quality Enhancement and Research CIBES, Dr Rafique Ahmad Khan, presented a donation cheque to Mehmood and his team.
