INDUSTRIAL TRAINING FOR VISUALLY CHALLENGED

The National Association for the Blind, Karnataka Branch, Bangalore, is conducting a twelve-month industrial training programme for the visually challenged and hearing impaired boys and girls at NAB Industrial Training Centre for the Blind, Sheds C-177178, Yadavagiri Industrial area, Mysore.

Training will be given in light engineering, screen printing, coil winding, plastic injection moulding, recaning, electrical and coir rope and mat making.

Male and female candidates of Karnataka domicile in the age group of 17 to 25 years with SSLC passed may apply to the Manager. Knowledge of Braille is essential for visually challenged candidates. A stipend of Rs. 250 per month will be paid to all the selected candidates. Applications may be obtained before June 15. Last date for submission of applications is June 17. Interview for applicants will be held on June 30 and classes for selected candidates commence from July 10.
