Workshop

Are you a person with disabilities? Do you refer to Wikipedia for information? Are you interested in learning how to contribute to Wikipedia, the world's largest encyclopedia? Join us on November 29th,
2020!
We at Rising Flame began our Wikipedia Edit-a-thons as a way to archive disabled histories and diversify the content creators on Wikipedia. In the past edit-a-thons, we have had youth with disabilities as participants, who then created pages of women across disabilities.  building capacities and removing invisibility- all through this one workshop.
(You can see our previous pages here:
https://risingflame.org/project/wikipedia-edit-a-thons/) We have
conducted three edit-a-thons so far.
During this year's 16 days of activism, we hope to edit and diversify a page to reflect the specific violence faced by women with disabilities. Come learn the process of editing, citing, writing and
contributing to a digital archive!
Limited seats available. You can apply for this workshop by filling up this form (https://forms.gle/rLEegZ1B5s797Eqj8) to show your interest and we will be in touch with more details!
