Online Workshop on Using G-mail with NVDA Part-1 on 7th May 2022, (Saturday), SBIF (COE)
St. Xavier’s College, XRCVC -Viviana extension is happy to announce an online workshop on the theme “Using
G-mail with NVDA Part-1” under its Tech Roshni series – A step at bridging the digital divide for blind and low vision persons. This Workshop is supported by the SBI Foundation - Centre of Excellence (COE).

Internet uses has become a crucial part of today’s life.& nbsp; Users are having choices of numerous browsers and e-mail clients for surfing and working on net. Most of the visually challenge persons are using G-mail with their mobile devices. Since there are limitations for such uses irrespective of simplicity.

In this workshop optimize uses of dissimilar aspects of G-mail features will be considered with popular screen reader NVDA.

Eligibility: participants should have good knowledge of Internet browsing, typing and screen reader.

Limited seats are available for the session.

Criteria: Persons with print disabilities such as blind and low vision. Participant should be a screen reader user.
Date: 7th May 2022, (Saturday).
Time: 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
Venue: Online Session (Zoom conferencing platform)

The registration link will close at 2.00 pm. On Thursday 5th May 2022.

Important Note:

1. Instructions to login will be sent by email on 6th May 2022, Friday to the registered participants only.

3. Participants are requested to use their personal earphones/headphones during the session.

4. After successful form submission, you will receive acknowledgement email from google.
