Workshop on the theme “Elevating Narrator in Windows 10

St. Xavier’s College, XRCVC -Viviana extension is happy to announce an online workshop on the theme
“Elevating Narrator in Windows 10”. under its Tech Roshni series - A step at bridging the digital divide for blind and low vision persons. This Workshop is supported by the Dhun Pestonji Parakh Discretionary Trust.

Microsoft Narrator, generally called Narrator, is a free screen reader utility incorporated with every copy of Microsoft Windows. Even though it is not a full-function screen reader, it can read dialog boxes and window controls in most Windows versions. It can be used for basic navigation, reliving in the installation of a different screen reader, or as a backup reader during updates.

Currently in Windows 10 narrator has come a long way both in terms of its functionality, ease of access, and integration with various applications.

In upcoming workshop, we will study
Narrator’s this enhanced features with hands-on experience.

Eligibility:
participants should have good knowledge of Internet browsing, typing and screen reader.
