DIRECT RECRUITMENT TO HARYANA SUPERIOR JUDICIAL SERVICE 2023-24 
 
High Court of Punjab & Hruyana, Chandigarh, invites applications from eligible candidates to ftll up 25 vacancies (23 actual + 02 anticipated) in the cadre of Haryana Superior Judicial Service by way of direct recruitment (Le. 25% quota) from amongst the eligible Advocates from the Bar, through competitive examination under Rule 6(1)(c) of Hruyana Superior Judicial Service Rules, 2007, in the prescribed Application Format {Annexure-I)

Age: 35-45 years
Qualification:
Must have knowledge of basic computer applications for usage purposes.

Must have passed matriculation examination with Hindi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Hindi language, specified by the government from time to time.

The Haryana Superior Judicial Service Examination 2023–24 will be conducted in accordance with the provisions contained in the Haryana Superior Judicial Service Rules, 2007, as amended from time to time. 

The reservation and eligibility for SC/BC-A/BC-B/EWS/ESM/PwD category candidates shall be admissible in accordance with the Policy/Rules/Instructions issued by the Government of Haryana from time to time

The benefit of reservation is admissible only to bonafide domiciles/residents of State of Haryana.

The reserved category candidates belonging to other States will compete against the posts meant for General/Unreserved Category and will be considered as General/Unreserved Category candidates. They are required to fill their category as General Category. 

The written test and viva-voce shall be conducted in English, except the language paper. 

EXAMINATION FEE: 

Rs.500/-(Rs. 500/- (Rs. five hundred only) for SCjBC-AjBC-BjPwDjESM candidates of Haryana State and all women candidates. 

Any person, who fulfills the above said conditions, may apply to the Registrar (Recruitment), High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh through Co-ordination Branch, High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh in an envelope superscribed as "Application for the post of Additional District Judge in the State of Hargana" on or before 22.12.2023 till 5:00 P.M. Application Form should be got typed and completed. 

Scribe/Compensatory Time for PwBD category candidates(with 40% or more disability) of Haryana:

In case of persons with benchmark disabilities in the category of blindness & low vision, the facility of scribe can be availed by the candidate, if so desired by him/her.

In case of other category of persons with benchmark disabilities, the facility of Scribe can be allowed on production of a certificate to the effect that the person concerned has physical limitation to write, and scribe is essential to write examination on his. behalf, from the Chief Medical Officer /Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent of a Government health care fnstitution as per prescribed proforma at Annexure-4. 

Compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of the examination is allowed to the candidates who are allowed use of scribe. It is further clarified that all the candidates with benchmark disabilities, who are eligible for availing the facility of scribe, but choose not to avail the said facility, will also be allowed compensatory time of 01 hour for examination of 03 hours duration, in case such candidates apply to this Court for the permission for compensatory time well in time alongwith requisite documents, as stated above.

All other candidates will send/submit the application forms directly to the Registrar (Recruitment), High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh through Co-ordination Branch, High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh in an envelope superscribed as "Application for the post of Additional District Judge in the State of Haryana" on or before 22.12.2023 till 5:00 P.M. Incomplete applications and applications received after 22.12.2023 shall not be entertained. 

Three recent and identical p8.SSport size photogra.phs duly signed by the candidate and attested by a Gazetted Officer (one to be pasted on the top righthand corner of the application form and others to be tagged with the application form). 

Two latest character certificates from two respectable persons, (one of which must be issued by the President/Secretary of the Bar Association where the candidate is practicing). 

No travelling expenses or allowances will be payable to any candidate for appearing in written test/viva-voce
