All India Braille Essay Competition 2023.
It is with great pleasure that we announce that your organization, "Indian Association of the Blind," is once again organizing the All India Braille Essay Competition 2023 for the visually impaired, just like in previous years. The competition will be held in two categories: Junior and Senior.
 
The Junior category is open to students aged 18 and below. The topic for this category is "Importance of Environment and Ways to Conserve it." Interested students can participate by writing their essays on an Interpoint Braille Slate or a Braille Writer and sending them by post. The maximum word limit for this category is 2500.
 
The Senior category is open to individuals aged between 19 and 40 years. The topic for this category is "Educational Development of Visually Impaired Persons in India and the New Education Policy." The essay must be written in Braille and sent by post. The maximum word limit for this category is 3500, and the essay can be written in either Hindi or English.
 
The deadline for submitting entries for both categories is September 30, 2023. Entries received after this date will not be considered for the competition.
 
The results of the competition will be announced by the organization on December 3, 2023, which is International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The winners will be honored with attractive awards at the organization's annual celebration, which is held every year on the second Sunday of January. The decision of the jury regarding the competition results will be final.
All participants are requested to write their name, complete address, and mobile number in Braille after writing their essays.
