Announcement: Registration Open for YVT Basic Computer Training Course for Visually Impaired Individuals at NAB Meerut

National Association for the Blind (NAB) - Meerut is commencing the registration process for the upcoming batch of online YVT Basic Computer Training courses tailored for visually impaired individuals.

The new batch will commence on the first day of each month, with classes scheduled Monday through Friday.

*Course Details:*
- Duration: Two months
- Timings (for this batch): 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
- Starting Date: 1st May 2024

*Course Content:*
Students will receive comprehensive instruction on:
- Basics of computer operation
- PC maintenance
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Internet navigation
- Basic system maintenance

Upon successful completion of the 8-week course, candidates will receive a certificate from NAB Meerut upon passing the examination. The objective is to familiarize participants with screen reading software such as JAWS and NVDA.

Classes will be conducted via Google Meet, accessible on smartphones.

NAB Meerut offers this course free of charge for visually impaired candidates.

While classes will primarily be conducted in Hindi, revision sessions in English will be provided for non-Hindi speaking foreign students.
