Essential Qualifications: The eligibility criteria and qualifications are as per the University of  Delhi/ University Grants Commission norms.

 

Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor in Economics in the Department of Commerce must have their Master’s Degree in Economics or Business Economics only.

 

Good academic record with at least 55% marks (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Persons with 

Disability viz. Physically and Visually disabled or those who passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold a Ph.D. Degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University.

Application Fee:Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PwD applicants. This is payable in form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Principal, P.G.D.A.V. College, Delhi.

 

The candidates applying under PwD category are required to submit the Disability Certificate in the format prescribed by Government of India, Department of Personnel and Training vide OM No. 

36035/3/2004-Estt (Res) dated 29.12.2005. The format is available at the website www.persmin.nic.in

 

 

Applicants are required to fill online the Application Form available on the college website. 

 

Separate application must be submitted for each post. 

 

The duly completed Online Application Form has to be printed, signed and submitted along with the 

Demand Draft of requisite amount, latest photograph and self-attested copies of all required/supporting documents to the college office during working hours or sent through Speed Post/Registered Post to: The Principal, P.G.D.A.V.  The hard copy of the application, complete in all respects, must reach PGDAV College office by Monday, 27th April, 2015.
