RECRUITMENT TO FACULTY POSITIONS:

Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering) is a non-affiliating; teaching cum research University engaged in education, research, product innovation and extension work in Applied Sciences, Engineering and Management and is committed to foster excellence. The University invites applications from the talented individuals who are inspired for teaching and have a strong zeal towards research and innovation to fill up the following posts in the under mentioned disciplines by direct mode of recruitment/Contractual basis:

Posts: (On regular basis)

1. Associate Professor
Discipline: Bio-Technology
No. of posts: 03 {reserved for PWD category, subcategory VH (LV)}
Essential Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech and M.E. / M.Tech in relevant branch with 1st Class or equivalent either in B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. /M.Tech and Ph.D or equivalent in appropriate disciplines.

Relevant Experience: Minimum of 05 years experience in teaching / research / industry of which 02 years Post Ph.D experience is desirable. The person should have minimum teaching experience of three years with AGP of Rs. 7600 or above or equivalent in PB-3.

Additional desirable requirements: Post Ph.D publications and guiding Ph.D students are highly desirable.

Preferred areas of Specialization: Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Biotechnology, Microbiology, Immunology, Bioinformatics, Cell and Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Cancer Biology, Stem Cell Biology, Medical Biotechnology and Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology and all allied areas of Biological Sciences

Age Limit: 50 years
Pay Band: PB-IV (Rs. 37400-67000) with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.9000/-

2. Assistant Professor
Discipline: Computer Engineering
No. of posts: 05, out of which 01 for Low Vision
Essential Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech and M.E. / M.Tech in relevant branch with 1st Class or equivalent either in B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. /M.Tech from a recognised University. Additional desirable requirements: Ph.D in relevant discipline and/or published research papers in journals of high repute is desirable.

Preferred areas of Specialization: Computer Architecture, Network Technology, Data Warehousing and Data Mining,, Requirements Engineering, Software Testing and Quality, Security Engineering, High Performance Computing, Embedded System, Robotics, Distributed System, Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Technology, Quantum Computing.

Age Limit: 35 years
Pay Band: PB-III(Rs 15600-39,100/-) with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000/-

Application fee: Rs.250/- for SC/ST/PwD category candidates.

Application Form must be accompanied by a demand draft of Rs.500/- in case of General/OBC candidates and Rs.250/- in case of SC/ST/PWD Category candidates drawn in favour of “Registrar, Delhi Technological University”, payable at Delhi. No other mode of payment will be accepted by the University.

No TA/DA in connection with the submission of application form or appearing in the interview will be paid to the candidate.
