SAIL- Bokaro Steel Plant invites applications from eligible candidates for the following posts the details of which are given below:
Post: Attendant –cum-Technician Trainee
Grade: S1 (On successful completion of training)
Qualification: Matriculation and passed All India Trade Test conducted by NCVT, Govt. of India after completing the stipulated period of training as Trade Apprentices in an Integrated steel plant.
No. of posts: 50, out of which 02 for VH (Partially Blind)
Upper Age Limit: 28 years
Upper age limit for PH candidates is relaxable by 10 years The physically challenged candidates are required to produce disability certificate issued by the Medical Board duly constituted by the State Govt./Central Govt. as per provisions of Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities , Protection of rights and full participation) Act 1995. They have to satisfy the relaxed Physical Standard required for the posts.
Pay scale: Rs. 8630-12080
Consolidated Pay –Rs. 8600/-pm during 1st year and Rs 10000/-pm during the 2nd year of training.
At the time of Interview, if the certificates brought by the candidate are not written in English or Hindi they should be accompanied with translated English/Hindi copies and the same should be attested by a Gazetted officer.
All correspondence with candidates shall be done through e-mail only. All information regarding examination schedule/admit card/ interview call letters etc. shall be provided through email/uploading on SAIL website. Responsibility of receiving, downloading and printing of admit card/interview call/ any other information shall be of the candidate. SAIL will not be responsible for any loss of email sent, due to invalid/wrong email ID provided by the candidate or for delay/not receipt of information if a candidates fails to access his/her mail/website in time.
Candidates are not required to send any document to SAIL. The candidates will be allowed to appear in the Written Test /Interview only if they possess the valid Photo Admit Card which will be available for download from the SAIL website as per schedule indicated below.
Application fee: Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates
MODE OF APPLICATION:
Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online only through SAIL’s website:www.sail.co.in. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted. Before registering their applications on the website the candidates should possess the following:
a) Valid e-mail ID, which should remain valid for at-least two years.
b) Candidates should possess the requisite qualification at the time of applying.
c) Pay in Slip for Rs. 50/-
d) The Pay-in-Slip is to be downloaded from the website after filling in the required details.
e) Candidates should have latest passport size photograph as well as photograph of signatures and scanned copy of AITT (All India Trade Test) passed certificate/any other document which certifies the completion of Apprenticeship Training of candidate from an Integrated steel plant and passing of AITT in digital format (.jpg or jpeg file only, of less than 500 kb size) for uploading with the application form.
f) Candidate must write his/her name as it appears in the Matriculation or equivalent examination Certificate. In case of change of name at a later stage necessary documentary proof to the effect to be submitted at the time of interview.
MODE OF PAYMENT OF APPLICATION/PROCESSING FEE State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the application fee/ processing fee, in a specially opened account (SBI Power Jyoti A/c No.31877168126 maintained by at SBI sector 4, B.S.City branch), on behalf of SAIL/Bokaro Steel Plant. Candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the pay-in-slip which is available on the Application Registration Portal.
Also please note that an amount of Rs. 20/- will be paid by the candidate as Bank Charges to the collection branch of SBI in addition to the applicable registration/processing fee. The SBI branches will accept the fee from 10.00 AM of the starting date to 5.00 PM of the closing date of submission of online application. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility before paying the application/processing fee.
