BGFI's knowledge sharing session in Delhi on etiquettes on Verbal and Non verbal Communication

*REACH, the Equal Opportunities Cell of Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi* and the *Blind Graduates Forum of India*!
Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills are key to one's success. As a visually impaired individual, building connections, interacting with people in a new setup and especially amongst new groups can prove to be challenging. By improving verbal communication skills, one quickly connects and builds rapport, earns respect, gains influence, and becomes more likable and accepted. Being clear, confident and to the point are essential for everyday communication.
Moreover, the mere shrug of the shoulder, subtle facial expressions, and other seemingly minor visual cues and clues supersede the worth of a thousand words._
Come, join us for a session which will empower learners to thrive and compete in a globalized world and information rich society!
The session will focus on *Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication Skills* including body language, gesture, posture, diction, delivery and voice modulation.
In addition, the art of mastering the *Handshake, Greetings and Self Introduction* will also be covered. The program is a blend of knowledge & practice through various training tools like *extempore sessions* which give candidates a chance to build on their confidence in delivering in front of a group.
Date: 28th September, 2019, Saturday
Time: 1 PM to 4 PM
*Venue: Room Number G3, Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Lajpat Nagar-IV, New Delhi*
