The device comes along with a Premium Pack which includes

 

OCR stand and remote

The OCR stand helps you capture images of printed material more accurately, thus vastly increasing the quality of the recognition results. The OCR stand provides a guide on which to place printed materials, and a tray for the Blaze EZ which centers the camera at the correct height and position for a standard page of text.

 

When using the stand for scanning you can use the remote. It is a small device which gets attached to the player via USB cable. You can give the command for scanning via the remote which provides great comfort as you don't need to lift your hand and press the OCR button on the device.

 

 

Cradle

Turn your portable player in to a desktop and back again simply by inserting it and removing it from the cradle. The cradle charges both the Blaze EZ and a spare battery separately or simultaneously. It also contains an audio jack for connecting headphones or speakers.

 

Spare battery and AC adapter

Keep one adapter at work and one at home, or use one with the cradle and the other with the unit itself. Use the spare battery to double your playing time on the go.

1. Color Reader

 

You can now use your Blaze EZ to ensure you are looking fashionable and fabulous with our new Color Reader application.

 

2. OCR Improvement

 

Our recent firmware has also improved scanning and reading with our included OCR application by enhancing our correction for recognition of text that is on an angle, as well as improving recognition of smaller print.

 

3. Web Radio

 

Our Blaze V1.1 patch also included enhanced Web Radio search and navigation capabilities thanks specifically to suggestions from Blaze users in India.

 

4. BookShare

 

We also now have direct BookShare search and download, without the need for a computer.

 

 

5. Indian TTS

 

Blaze EZ also has an Indian TTS voice Deepa available for download for more natural listening to books and documents as well as unit prompts and announcements.

 

Blaze ET has all the features of EZ, but features a full numeric keypad and advanced features such as direct file management, memo, calculator and alarm, and advanced list navigation. Blaze ET improves on existing programs like the Media Player by adding items like Repeat and Shuffle and the ability to create and save playlists, and allows

for continuous scanning of multiple pages in the OCR program. You can also purchase dictionary add-ons for Blaze ET including an English dictionary and Thesaurus as well as bilingual dictionaries in Spanish, Italian and French.
