Press Meet at Savera Hotel Chennai on 22nd February 2023.

CHENNAI: With a public appeal message seeking support of the people to ‘Open Your Eyes to a New World’, the 32nd Brailles on Wheels car rally is being organised in Chennai on February 26th 2023 from the Hotel Savera in Chennai. This car rally is for the visually impaired and is being organized by the National Association for the Blind, 02 Health Studio and Madras Motor Sports Club. It is an inclusive sporting event that brings together the visually impaired and those who have the eye sight, a press release received after a press meet held in Chennai on 22nd February 2023 has said.

Thryve Digital Brailles on Wheels:

“The navigator has to read out the instructions which are in Braille for the driver. Navigator and the driver are mutually dependent. Each team member contributes according to his or her abilities. This rally helps the persons with visual impairment to build contacts and foster bonds. It also gives an opportunity for the sighted person to get to know a person with visual impairment,” the press release said after a press meet held on 22nd February 2023 at Savera Hotel in Chennai.

The press meet was addressed by Mr.Balasubramaniam Sankaranarayanan, president and CEO of Thryve Digital along with Mr.Indu Shekar, senior VP-Head Marketing of Thryve Digital, Ms.Neena Reddy, president, National Association for the Blind, Mr.Amit Arora-MMSC and Mr.Manoj Dalal, honorary secretary MMSC.
