Saksham is delighted to announce an exciting three-day event called Breaking Barriers: AccessAbility Event at Lovely Professional University from 26th to 28th August, dedicated to promoting accessibility and inclusivity. On Day 1, we have lined up exciting events where you can win fantastic prizes.
The first competition is the 'Right to Write' (computer speed and accuracy competition) for students between 8th to 12th standard.
Participants are preferably requested to bring their own laptops for the competition.
The second competition is the Assistive Technology and social media
accessibility awareness quiz, open to all.
In addition, we have a special screening of the audio-described movie "1983" lined up. Throughout the day, an Experience Zone will be available, offering you the opportunity to explore and purchase products used by visually impaired individuals and to experience the challenges they overcome with the help of Assistive Technology Products.
This event is organized as part of Saksham’s biggest-ever Campaign -"Leveraging Social Media AccessAbility for All" supported by META. The campaign aims to transform the way we create and share content to
ensure social media is enjoyable and accessible to everyone.
