Career Centric Computer Training for Visually Impaired Sept 07 - Feb 08

Enable India is a non profit organization established in 1999. Our goal is to empower people with disabilities through rehabilitation, supplemental education and employment. One of our main focus areas is free computer training for the visually impaired. A new batch for Career Centric Computer Training CCCT for the visually impaired will commence on September 18th 2007. The duration of the course is 6-8 months. The course will cover MS Office applications such as MS Word MS Excel, Internet Explorer etc with JAWS, and life skills training which includes Employment training, career guidance and counseling, personality development. The ultimate aim of this course is to make the candidate employable. The refundable deposit is Rs. 200, completely refundable upon successful completion of course. No accommodation will be provided Assistance will be provided to get PG or Hostel based on request Employment opportunities will also be provided for eligible candidates based on their performance. Visually impaired candidates who are preferably degree holders, who can understand andamp; speak English, andamp; who can attend full time training can apply. Registration should be completed before 7th of September 2007 not applicable for those who are already registered with EnAble India. For registration, please bring photocopies of all Education certificates, Disability certificate and two passport size photos. Evaluation tests and interview will be conducted only on 7th and 8th of September 2007. Please note that no admissions will be entertained after 8th September 2007.
