Competitions for visually impaired girls.
Aditi Mahavidyalaya, in collaboration with Advocate Sanjay Chhabra, is organising a Debate, Group Discussion and Extempore competition for university women students with visual impairment on the occasion of International White Cane Safety Day.

DATE: 14th and 15th October, 2022
VENUE: Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021
TIME: 9:30 AM onwards, 14th October and 15th October
ELIGIBILITY: Women University/College Students with Visual Impairment
LANGUAGE FOR COMPETITION: Bilingual (Hindi/English)

MOTION FOR DEBATE:
This House Believes That reservation is a growing necessity for Persons with Disabilities in current times.
सदन का मत है कि वर्तमान समय में विकलांग व्यक्तियों के लिए आरक्षण एक बढ़ती आवश्यकता है।
Speaking Time: 4 mins per participant (3 min speaking time+1 min interjection)
MOTION FOR GD:
Women are the only victims of domestic violence.
महिलाएँ ही घरेलू हिंसा की शिकार होती हैं।
OR
Is marital rape a legal or a social issue?
क्या वैवाहिक बलात्कार कानूनी या सामाजिक मुद्दा है?
Total Speaking Time: 30 mins

MOTION FOR EXTEMPORE: Will be shared at the time of the competition

Evaluation will be done based on performance in Debate, GD and Extempore. Participants will have to participate in all the activities. Presence on both the days is compulsory.

FIRST PRIZE: Orbit Reader (Rs. 40,000)
SECOND PRIZE: Bose Audio Frame (Rs. 22,000)
THIRD PRIZE: Smartphone (Rs. 9,500)

All the participants will be given a folding white cane.
Last Date of Registration: 12th September 2022

Outstation participants will be provided with boarding and lodging on 13th and 14th October 2022. No local and outstation reimbursement will be provided for travel costs.
