BPCL Mumbai Refinery invites application for appointment to the following post:

Post: Craftsman (Mechanical & Instrumentation)
No. of posts: Mechanical: 06, Instrumentation: 04, Total: 10
Note: PWD (Persons with Disability) candidates in OH (Orthopedically Handicapped) / VH (Visually Handicapped) category with not less than 40% disability can also apply for the post.

However, such candidates will be considered for selection by general standards of merit. Maximum age relaxed to 40 Years for Persons With Disability (PWD) candidates.

Pay scale: Rs. 5350-17000/-

Age limit: max.30 years
Scale of pay: 17,000/- with grade pay 5,350/-
Qualification: Diploma in engineering in mechanical /instrumentation/electronics with minimum qualifying marks of 60%in aggregate of all semesters/years.
Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience including apprenticeship training in any under apprentices in oiling refining/petroleum/petrochemical/chemical/fertilizer industry

Reservation /Relaxations /Concessions for SC / ST/ OBC /PWD will be as per Government directives.

SC / ST / PWD candidates called for written test / interview are eligible for to and fro II class train / bus fare on production of bus /rail ticket, provided the distance is not less than 30 kms each side by the shortest route.

Candidates will be required to work in rotating shifts.

Candidates Domiciled in State of Maharashtra with knowledge of Marathi will be preferred.

Persons with disabilities applying for the above posts will be in accordance with provision of Para 25 of DOP & T OM No. 36035/3/2004 Estt. (Res) dated 29/12/2005.

Posting shall be at Mumbai Refinery and the services are transferable anywhere in India as required by the Corporation.
