A day of inclusive film screenings in Chennai
Greetings from Point of View!
After the success of our event in Mumbai, we are delighted to invite you to the Chennai edition of Skin Stories: love. desire. disability, an inclusive day of film screenings in collaboration with The Equals Centre for Promotion of Social Justice. On this day, we will put the romantic and intimate lives of people with disabilities at the front and centre.
When
Saturday 3rd March, 9:30am-4:45pm
Where
Ramanujan Auditorium, The Institute of Mathematical Sciences, 4th Cross Street, CIT Campus, Taramani, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600113
Please find the full program here.
We hope you will join us on Saturday for films and conversations. There will be a myriad stories - a story about a woman learning to live with her Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, about a man with a locomotor disability engaging with a sex surrogate, and more.
The event is free and open to everyone. All the films being screened will have subtitles and audio descriptions, in order to make the screenings inclusive to all. A sign language interpreter will also be present and the venue is completely accessible.
Bring your friends, family, colleagues, and let's talk about love, desire and disability together!
