Advanced Technology Blind Student's Learning Centre,  Department of Education and Extension in association with office of the student welfare, university of Pune is organizing a day long "educational and career guidance seminar for visually challenged" on 29th June  2013.

The seminar will focus on various educational and career opportunities available for visually challenged. Eminant persons with visual disabilities who are role model in their area will talk on various higher educational and career opportunities such as career in commerse and management, information technology, social sciences, Law, Banking, medical and paramedical science and technologies, entrepreneurship development etc.

Registration: 09.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.

Inauguration: 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. Keynote speech: Charudatta Jadhav, TCS, Mumbai.

Tea break:11.00 a.m. to 11.15 a.m.

Career in social sciences: 11.15 a.m. to 12.00 pm.  by Dr. Sam Tarapurvala, XRCVC, Mumbai.

Management career: 12.00 p.m. to 12.45 p.m. by Mr. Charudatta Jadhav, TCS, Mumbai.

Law Career: 12.45 p.m. to 01.30 p.m. ByDr. Sanjay Jain, ILS law college.

Lunch break: 01.30 p.m. to 02.30 p.m.

Banking Career: 02.30 p.m. to 03.15 p.m. by Mr Prashant Naik, UBI Mumbai.

Medical and paramedical career: 03.15 p.m. to 04.00 p.m. by Dr. Salman Shaikh, Consultant physiotherapist Mumbai.

Academics and research career: 04.00 p.m. to 04.45 p.m. by Mr. Dhananjay Bhole, University of Pune.

Information technology career: 04.45 pm to 05.30 pm by Mr. Sidhant Chothe, Techvision Pune.
