Indian visually impaired judo team win gold

Lucknow: After a long wait of 12 years, the Indian visually  impaired judo team won one gold and a silver medal at the  IBSA Judo Tokyo International Open Tournament in Japan.
Kapil Parmar from Madhya Pradesh won gold in below 60kg weight category after defeating his opponents Junaedi from Indonesia, Abdurakhmonov Isokjon from Uzbekistan, Shukurov Sukhrob from Uzbekistan and Kim Hyeonbin from Korea in the round robin.

Kokila from Haryana  entered the final after defeating Uzbekistan’s Khamidova  Shoira in the round-robin in the below 48kg weight category  and won the silver medal after losing to Japan’s Fujiwara  Yui.
Gulshan from Uttar Pradesh finished fifth in the  below 57kg weight category in the round robin after losing  to Japan’s Kudo Hiroko, Ishii Ayumi and  Hirose Junko.
