Centre for Inclusive Education and Accessibility, SPPU is inviting you for the Workshop  on Digital Course Content Accessibility and Accessible Libraries for Persons With Print Disabilities.

Academic Course content accessibility is one of the biggest challenge for students with disabilities Specially students with visual impairment who have lot of struggle to get course content readily in alternative format. online accessible digital libraries can be a perfect solution for this challenge. University Students can register for Such digital libraries and access thousands of books of their own interest at their finger tips. Accessible text books of undergraduate and graduate programs are readily available on Book Share and Dugamya Pusthakalaya.
Centre for Inclusive Education and Accessibility at Savitribai Phule Pune University is encouraging all the students and academician, professionals with visual impairment to register and use accessible digital libraries by Sensitizing users by organizing this Workshop in association with Book Share India.

•       Who can participate: Students with Print Disabilities, Professionals with Visual Impairment, Parents of persons with visual impairment, Disability support service coordinators of academic institutions, Audio content developers, NGOs working for higher education of persons with disabilities etc.
•       When : Thursday 6th September 2018 at 1.00 PM to 6.00 PM.
•       Where : Seminar Hall, Department of Environmental Science, Savitribai Phule Pune University.
•       Fees : The Workshop  is free to all the participants.
Expected number of participents: 100 (Registration is  On first come first serve basis).
