Japanese Medical Manual Therapy vocational training course

BPA introduces a new vocational training course  in Ahmedabad. This is a full time health/medical field manual therapy courses for two years called JMMT, Japanese Medical Manual Therapy. JMMT originally developed in Japan, has for centuries provided blind people as a substantial source of employment. It has been developed in combination with acupuncture, Shiatsu, and acupressure. Dr. Sasada, the major trainer of this JMMT project, has modified it for global use by combining other overseas methods, e.g., Chinese, Thai, and western scientific approaches. 

It is the aim of all the participating parties to promoting Vocational Independence for the visually challenged in India, considering that there are a lot of blind adults who lost their sight late in life. Therefore this is a good opportunity for them  to gain vocational independence and social participation. The project aims at better vocational independence and empowerment of the visually challenged in India.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • 12th Pass
  • Visually impaired
  • No age limit

Important Information:

  • The Course will be held at the BPA premise in Ahmedabad
  • Duration of the course is 2 years Full time
  • Hostel Facility will be provided 

Admission Process:

Interested candidates can download and complete their application from the BPA website. Candidates may also send in their application on plain paper along with their 10th and 12th marksheet, school leaving certificate and disability certificate. Last date for application is 31st July.
