Hubballi: Samarthanam Trust will organise a job fair for differently abled candidates between 9am to 2pm on June 23 at Arts and Commerce Degree College Mahila Vidya Peeth in Vidyanagar. Krishna Lamani of Samarthanam Trust told reporters here on Monday that recent surveys of persons with disabilities in India found that they have lost their jobs post-Covid and their mere survival is a challenge. “Differently abled job-seekers offer a wider choice for recruiters. Over 500 skilled job- seekers 18-35 age group are expected to participate in the job fair. Those with SSLC, PU, ITI, diploma or degree holder can attend the job fair,” he said, adding 20 companies have already registered themselves, and five more may follow suit.
