About The Program:
Amitha skill development program is being conducted by Samarthanam trust for the disabled in Delhi empower the disabled youth by providing basic computer training along with soft skill and spoken English training. The program includes training, placement and post placement services.

Goal:

The main aim of this course is to make the candidates "Computer Literate" and “Self Dependent” by training them to be more confident and efficient in their respective fields.

Course Highlights and Contents

•  Keyboard orientation and Typing practice with software “TalkingTyper”
•  Basics of Software, Hardware and Network
•  Introduction to Assistive technologies for visually impaired
•  Basic concepts such as Desktop, Taskbar, Menus, Editing, Dialog box, File/ Folder management Etc.
•  Screen readers, NVDA and JAWS settings and help
•  MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
•  Internet browsing, Internet based Email, on-line chat, internet calling, social networking, reading websites, online file transfer Etc.
•  Basic grammar, attributes of personality development, spoken English Pedagogy used
• Computer with windows 8.1  and also brief knowledge about latest windows.
•  Latest NVDA and JAWS 18.
•  Talking typer.
•  Self-paced exercise of each concept.
•  Tactile Diagrams for visual description.
•  Computer curriculum design for each concept and employment aspect.
•  Educated your-self easily (EYE) tool for exercise.
•  Spelling tool for correcting spelling your-self.
•  Student manual and trainer manual.
