ADVERTISEMENT FOR AD-HOC APPOINTMENT FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR LECTURERS (+2) AND LECTURERS (COLLEGE BRANCH)(+3) IN DIFFERENT DISCIPLINES OF JUNIOR COLLEGES 
AND DEGREE COLLEGES OF ODISHA RESPECTIVELY UNDER THE HIGHER EDUCATION DEPARTMENT.
(A) FOR AD-HOC APPOINTMENT OF JUNIOR LECTURERS IN JUNIOR COLLEGES 
1. Applications in prescribed form are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Lecturers under the Higher Education Dept., Govt. of Odisha on ad-hoc basis. 
2. The discipline wise vacancy position along with reservation thereof is given below:

(v) Psychology

Age Limit: 21-32 years
The upper age-limit prescribed above is relaxable by 10 (ten) years for Physically Challenged candidates, whose disability should not be less than 40% (forty).
Pay scale: Rs 9300 - 34,000/- with G.P. Rs 4600/- 
 
Educational qualification:
 
A candidate should possess a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 55% marks in aggregate OR its equivalent grade.
 
5% of marks wherever minimum percentage of marks in aggregate in any examination is prescribed shall be allowed to the physically handicapped persons for their eligibility for appointment to posts and 
the services under Govt. reserve for them (vide G.A. Dept. Resolution no.-16443/Gen/24th July, 1978).
 
 FOR AD-HOC APPOINTMENT OF LECTURERS (COLLEGE BRANCH) IN DEGREE COLLEGES
Post: Lecturer
 
(i) Odia
No. of posts: 14, out of which 01 for V.I.
 
(ii) Political Science
No. of posts: 26, out of which 01 for V.I.
 
(iii) Sanskrit
No. of posts: 20, out of which 01 for V.I.
 
Age Limit: 21-40 years
 
The upper age-limit prescribed above is relaxable by 10 (ten) years for candidates belonging to Physically challenged category, whose disability should not be less than 40%(forty).
 
Pay scale: Rs 15,600-39,100/- with A.G.P. Rs6000/ 
Qualification: A candidate should possess a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.

The application form must be accompanied with the self-attested photo copies of other required documents.
 
The envelope containing the application form for the post of Junior Lecturer in Junior Colleges must be super scribed “Application for the Post of Ad-hoc Junior Lecturer in the discipline of ______________in 
Govt. Junior College”.
