Trestle Labs has launched a one-stop solution to access documents on Laptops and Computers named Kibo Desk.
 
Kibo Desk web application hosted on https://kibodesk.trestlelabs.com is a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) application that helps you listen, translate and digitize images and scanned image-based PDFs.

Kibo Desk is accessible, user-friendly and easy to use. Here are the steps-

• Turn on your laptop and computer, open any web browser like Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge etc. and go to the website- https://kibodesk.trestlelabs.com
• Now you are in the home page of Kibo Desk portal. To continue, please sign-in with your email ID.
• When you Sign-up for first time you will get 7 days free trial with 100 credits to use all the features of Kibo Desk for free.
• Click on the ‘Start Free Trial’ button. Then agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions by selecting the checkbox using space bar. (You can either sign-in from your Google account or you can also type your email id and password to sign-in)
• Now you have successfully signed-in to Kibo Desk portal. Open your PDF or image file through enter key on ‘Drag and Drop or Browse a PDF/Image file’. Your document will be processed and you will be able to access all the features that Kibo Desk offers.

Here are some of the use-case scenarios of Kibo Desk:

1. For Digitization and Translation of images and PDFs to searchable, editable, Unicode formats – DOC, DOCX, TXT
2. By visually impaired employees to access official documents independently resulting in enhanced productivity
3. By students to access documents shared by School/College or any competitive examination preparation material
4. By NGOs to download in DOC, DOCX, TXT and use it to create Braille or EBooks
5. For inclusive education to read inaccessible PDFs and create e-content repository by saving content on Kibo Cloud.
