National Institute for the Visually Handicapped invites application from the eligible candidates for filling up the following post. 



Post: Lecturer in Education 

No. of post: 01 

Age Limit : 40 years 

Salary : Rs. 21,000/- consolidated with no other allowances. 

Duration : On one year contract only. 



Essential Qualifications : 



Master's Degree from recognized University with not less than 50% marks and M.Ed in Special Education (V.I.) with not less than 55% marks or an equivalent grade of B in 7-points scale or an equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI. 



Desirable : 



Ph.D / M.Phil in Education with research emphasis on Special Education. 



Experience for a period of at least 3 years as teacher or researcher in the area of visual disability or 3 years of teaching experience at the Diploma Level. 



General Conditions : 



No fee for SC / ST, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen candidates. 



Age Limit relaxable as per Govt, of India's rules for SC / ST / OBC Physically Handicapped and Ex-serviceman. 



Applications must invariably be accompanied with attested copies of certificates, degrees, mark sheets, testimonials in support of qualifications, age and experience without which application will not be considered.
