Applications are invited by the  Commandant OD Avadi from eligible Indian National/candidates for filling up of the following vacancies.

Post: Lower Division Clerk
No. of posts: 07, out of which 01 for OBC-V.I.
Pay scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay: Rs. 1900/-
Qualification: (i) 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or university. (ii) English typing @ 35 wpm on computer or Hindi Typing 30 wpm on computer (35 wpm and 30 wpm corresponding to 10500/9000 Key Depression Per Hour on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.

Age: 18-25 years

Documents to be attached with application.

(a) Affix recent passport size photograph, facing camera duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, at space earmarked at Annex-1 & II
(b) One self addressed envelope of size 12x28 cms duly affixed postal stamp of Rs. 6/-
(c) Copies of the following attested by Gazetted Officer
(i) Birth or school certificate showing date of birth as proof of age.
(ii) Community certificate where applicable and should be in prescribed format.
(iii) Educational qualification certificate
(iv) Discharge certificate for Ex-serviceman
(v) Certificate of knowledge in computer where applicable
(vi) Employment exchange registration card, if held
(vii) Disabilities certificate as per annexure-iii to be submitted alongwith application (Visually Handicapped only)
(viii) No objection certificate from the present employer.

No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates for appearing in the test/interview.

On top of envelope "Application for recruitment for the post of ......category............Advt. No.  should be written in bold letters.

The selected  candidates will be posted at OD Avadi. However appointee will be liable to serve anywhere in India.

The candidate who fulfills the above requirements may apply by ordinary post to the Commandant, Ordnance Depot, Avadi, Chennai-600055 as per format given in the employment news along with supporting documents and photostat copies of testimonials duly attested by Gazetted Officer with self addressed stamped envelope.
