National Institute of Professionals (NIP) was established in August 2002.It is a non-profit organization.
India’s first university directed computer course for the visually & physically challenged persons directed by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
Activities:
1. Health chekup programme (Eye check up & Cataract Surgery Programme) in association with Susrut Eye Foundation & Research Centre.
2. IGNOU directed computer training & educational programme for the 12 passed visually & physically challenged persons.
3. Vocational Rehabilitation Centre – Handicapped (VRC-H), Ministry of Labour, Govt. Of India directed Computer training programme for the 10 passed visually & physically challenged persons. And other vocational training programmes.
4. Educational programme for tribal children & women at Balarampur, Dist. Purulia, W.B.
5. NIP is trying to continue its relentless struggle to uphold the Art and Folk culture of Bengal.
