Applications are invited from scholars interested in undertaking research in the field of Braille development and in the development of need based methods and material for promoting education of children and youth with visual impairment, under the Louis Braille Memorial Fellowship, two scholars will be awarded fellowship @ Rs. 

25000/- per month initially for a period of two years extendable by one year. Scholars fulfilling the following conditions may send their applications on a plain paper along with testimonials in support of their qualifications and research experience invariably the applications must be accompanied by a research proposal. Scholars are free to send more than one proposal in order for the selection committee to assess research skills of the scholar. 



Eligibility of the candidates: 



(a) The Scholar must be an Indian national residing in India 

(b) He/She should possess a master's degree with not less than 55% of marks in Special Education (V.I)/Masters in related field. 

or 

Ph.D on a topic relating to the education, training and rehabilitation of persons with visual impairment.
