National Women's and Junior Chess Championship for the Blind

We are glad to inform you that NAB India in collaboration with All India Chess Federation for the blind (AICFB) organising National Junior chess championship for the blind (under 19 years) And National Woman Chess championship for the blind in Mumbai from 27th to 29th Jan 2012.

Both championships are official in nature and top players from these tournaments will be selected to take part in forth coming world chess championships and National chess championship (sighted). This is a wonderful opportunity to children under 19 years of age (National Junior) and woman (National woman players ) to show their skills and represent our country at top level.

We also take this opportunity to thank NAB india for partnering these mega chess events. This year, both these championships are organised as a part of golden jubilee celebration of NAB India.

We request you to please confirm your participation before 31st Dec and also help us to pass on this information across India.

Tournament details:- National Women's Chess championship

Lodging & boarding will be provided from 26th Jan 2012 evening to 30th Jan 2012 morning.

All players must pay AICFB annual registration fee of Rs. 50/-. Above mention registration fees is annual in nature has to pay once in a financial year. After paying these registration fees, Players will have benefit to play as many tournaments in blind without paying registration fee in this financial year. The players who have already paid these fees need not pay for this year but they have to produce the receipt for the same.

Top 4 players will qualify to take part in National "B" Chess Tournament in Sighted Category.

Tournament will be played on Swiss league basis according to FIDE & IBCA rules.

Final function will be on 29th Jan evening, attendance is compulsory.

All the players have to strictly follow the AICFB rules any miss conduct will not be tolerated.

Confirm your participation by sending attached form duly filled through post, E mail and also inform by phone or SMS to organizers on or before 31st Dec 2011. Confirmation of entry is the sole right of AICFB. If any player after confirmation of their entry is not able to participate due to genuine reason should inform AICFB in writing before 15th Jan 2012 else they are liable for disciplinary action.

Those are born on 1st January, 1993 only take a part in this tournament.

Prizes will be given as per age Categories: under 11, under 13, under 15 and above 15 up to 19 year.

In every Category top two players will be selected to take part in National Junior Chess Tournament (Sighted).
