NVDA is a very high quality open source screen reading software. NVDA software enables blind and vision impaired people to use a computer by communicating what is on the screen using a synthetic voice or braille.The NVDA is open source and free of cost software. However, voice quality of speech engine included with free of cost NVDA is not liked by most users and doesn’t support Indian English or eloquence.

To overcome this problem, NVDA now includes Nuance vocaliser voices for Indian English and Hindi. These voices are popularly known as Sangita and Lekha TTS. The India Distribution of NVDA also includes Eloquence voices for US and UK English which are most popular among users in India.
