XRCVC Tech Roshni Online Workshop on Using Google Form with NVDA & JAWS Part 1 on 22 July 2023 at 4:30 PM
St. Xavier’s College, XRCVC -Viviana extension is happy to announce an online workshop on the theme “Using Google Form with NVDA & JAWS Part-1” under its Tech Roshni series – A step at bridging the digital divide for blind and low vision persons. This Workshop is supported by the Dhun Pestonji Parakh Discretionary Trust.
Google forms is one of the Google most popular product nowadays extensively used in the educational field, homes and corporate world. Its flexibility allows users such as — Want to get to know better Opinion surveys of students, clients and employees Its suppleness can be extended to track student performance.  Companies can learn about their customer’s data, and   personal lives (health data and many more).
It is detected that visually impaired people are comfortable to fill google forms with help of mobile but various times feels worry to deal with them on computers.
This workshop will give participants a practical experience of substantial opening of Google form with popular screen readers JAWS and NVDA.
Eligibility: participants should have good knowledge of Internet browsing, Fundamentals of G-mail and drive, typing and screen reader.

Resource Persons: Vikas Dabholkar and Keshavan Nadar.
Criteria: Persons with print disabilities such as blindness and low vision. Participant should be a screen reader user.
Date: July 22, 2023, (Saturday).
Time: 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
Venue: Online Session (Zoom conferencing platform)

Important Note:
1. Instructions to login will be sent by email on 21^st July 2023, Friday to the registered participants only.
2. After clicking the above given link, fill in the form. Please do not click on the Request Edit Access button. If you click on it the form will not get submitted. Once the form is filled then click on the Submit button only.
3. Participants to use their personal earphones/headphones during the session.
4. After successful form submission, you will receive acknowledgement email from google.
