Recruitment for Faculty Positions

The university invites applications for the following faculty positions:

Essential Qualification :
(i)    An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers    
 (ii)    A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or experience in research at the University/ National level institutions/ industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.         
 (iii)   Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching learning process.

(iv)  A minimum score of 400 points as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API-III) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS)

An outstanding professional with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.

Application fee: Rs.200/- for  SC/ST/PWD applicants.

How to Apply :

Application forms are only available in the Ravenshaw University website ‘www.ravenshawuniversity.ac.in’. Applicants are required to download the application form and the API Score Card (for the post of Professor and Reader) from the links ‘APPLICATION FORM’ and ‘API SCORE CARD’ given in the employment news and wesbite.

Application form and API Score Card complete in all respects should be sent to the Registrar, Ravenshaw University, Cuttack-753003, Odisha alongwith a Demand Draft for Rs. 500/- (Rs.200/- in case of SC/ST/PWD applicants) drawn in favour of the Comptroller of Finance, Ravenshaw University payable at Cuttack by Speed Post/ Registered Post so as to reach on or before the last date (01 July 2013) of the application. All documents and application form should be sent in A4 size envelope only.

The A4 size envelope containing application should be superscribed ‘APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF …………. IN SUBJECT…….……..

The applicants staying abroad may send their applications through email attachment to “registrar@ravenshawuniversity.ac.in”. However, they will be required to submit all the testimonials and the bank draft at the time of the interview.

Documents to be submitted along with the application form:

API Score Card (for the post of Professor and Reader) Bank Draft for Rs. 500/- (Rs.200/- in case of SC/ST/PWD applicants);

Attested xerox copies of certificates and marksheets relating to academic qualifications;

Experience Certificate(s) from concerned authorities;

No Objection Certificate from the present employer;

SC/ST/PWD certificate from competent authority;

List of publications including books and articles;

Copies of the reprints of three best publications.

Copies of all other certificates on the basis of which API Scores have been calculated.
 
The application form duly filled in by the candidate must be supported by attested copies of all required documents.

No TA / DA will be paid to attend the selection committee or to join the first appointment.
