The Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (A Central University) invites on-line applications
from eligible candidates for the regular posts of Professors (Entry pay of Rs. 144200/- in the Academic Pay level 14 as per 7th CPC), Associate Professors (Entry pay of Rs. 13l400l in the Academic Pay level l3A as per 7th CPC) and Assistant Professors (Entry pay of Rs. 577001 in the Academic Pay level l0 as per 7th CPC) as per following details:

1. Professor
No. of post: 01 for Low Vision

Qualifications: An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer reviewed/ UGC listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix III,Table 2  (as per UGC regulations 2018)

A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National level institutions/industries with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.

2. Assistant Professor

Pay Scale: Entry pay of Rs. 57700/- in the Academic Pay level 10 as per 7th CPC
Qualifications:Master‘s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian/Foreign University.
