Posts:

 

1. Professor

Department:  Business Administration 

No. of posts: 02, out of which 01 for Visually Impaired (ST)

(a) An eminent scholar with a PhD in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline and having published work of high quality and actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 (ten) publications in refereed / peer-reviewed journals, and as books and / or research / policy papers.

 

(b) An eminent scholar with published work of high quality and actively engaged in research, with 10 years of experience in post-graduate teaching and/or research at the University/ National-level Institutions, including experience of guiding research at doctoral level.

 

(c) A minimum Academic Performance Indicator (API) scores under the Performance Based Appraisal 

System (PBAS), as set out in the UGC Regulation 2010 and subsequently amended in 2013.

OR

An outstanding scholar with established reputation who has a made significant contribution to the 

field of knowledge

Scale of Pay: Rs. 37,400 - 67,000/- + AGP Rs. 10,000/-

 

2. Reader

 

Department: Psychology

No. of posts: 01 for Visually Impaired

a) Good academic record with a doctoral degree or equivalent published work. In addition, candidates 

who join from outside the University system, shall also possess at least 55% of the marks or an 

equivalent grade of B in the seven point scale with latter grades, O, A, B, C, D, and E & F at the 

Master’s Degree Level. 

 

(b) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution /

Industry excluding the period of PhD research with evidence of published work and a minimum of five publications as books and/or research/policy papers.

 

(c) A minimum Academic Performance Indicator (API) scores under the Performance Based Appraisal 

System (PBAS), as set out in the UGC Regulation 2010 and subsequently amended in 2013.

 

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600 - Rs. 39,100/- + AGP Rs. 8,000/-

 

 

A relaxation of 5% of the marks at the master’s level (from 55% to 50%) may be provided for the scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe / Persons with Disabilities category.

 

Age of Superannuation: 60 Years

Online applications may be filled in and submitted there in. The print out of the filled in online application should be sent along with the required

 Documents to be submitted along with application forms

 

(a) Self attested photocopies of certificates and mark sheets of all examinations passed.

(b) Self attested photocopies of certificates for claiming any types of reservations.

(c) API score certified by the competent authority.

(d) Proof of payment of application fee.

(e) Photocopies of other achievements and research work.

(f) Candidates who are in-service can send their applications as Advance Copy in order to save delay. 

 

They have to ensure that the ‘proper channel’ application will follow it.

 

(g) Candidates applying for the post Reader are required to submit the reprints of their five major publications.

(h) Candidates applying for the post of Professor are required to submit the reprints of their ten major publications.

 

 

Candidates intending to apply for different posts are required to apply separately.

 

No TA/DA will be paid to attend the selection committee or to join the first appointment.
