Applications in the prescribed form are invited from the eligible candidates for the following posts shown against the subjects to be filled up on regular/contract/re-employment and superannuation basis:

Posts:

1. Associate Professor

Subjects:

(i) Biotechnology

No. of posts: 02, out of which 01 for PwD

Educational qualification: Evidence of quality research and expertise in teaching at least in three areas of the courses prescribed for M.Sc.

Biotechnology programme and to develop and teach M.Phil/M.Tech – Ph.D. level courses. Master Degree in Biotechnology or allied subjects with evidence of quality research and expertise in teaching in

one or both Immunology & Biochemistry

(ii) Education

No. of posts: 04, out of which 01 for PwD

Educational qualification:

a. A Master’s Degree in Arts / Humanities / Sciences / Commerce and M. Ed. each with a minimum of

55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed),

or

M.A. (Education) and B.Ed. each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale

wherever grading system is followed);

b. Ph.D in Education; and

c. At least eight years of teaching experience in University department of education or College of

Education, with a minimum of three years at the M.Ed. level and has published work in the area of his

specialization

2. Professor

Subject: Computer Science

No. of posts: 05, out of which 01 for PwD

(i) Evidence of quality research and expertise in teaching at least in three areas of the courses prescribed for M.Sc. and M.Tech in Computer Science including Ph.D. level courses.

(ii) Master Degree in Computer Science or allied subjects.

3. Assistant Professor

Subject: English

No. of posts: 08, out of which 01 for PwD (OBC)

Educational qualification: Evidence of quality research and expertise in teaching at least in three areas of the subject courses prescribed for M.A.

English including development and teaching of M.Phil-Ph.D. level courses.

A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and Master's level for the SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities (Physical and Visual Disabilities) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions.

Application fee: The SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates are exempted from paying the application fees.

The selected candidates will be posted in Patna or Gaya.
