Retina India Kolkata invites people for its formal chapter meeting on 22 May 2010 at 2 p.m., which is being held at the premises of the Welfare Society for the Blind, P 102, Diamond Harbour Road, New Alipore, Kolkata - 700053.

Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting, including people with retinal ailments, their family members, volunteers who are working in the field of disability, or who wish to work in the field. People with other eye problems are also welcome to attend, since some of the projects we will undertake will help them too. This first meeting will discuss the objectives and aims of Retina India, and the work that can be taken up in Kolkata. There will also be a short discussion on the current treatment options for some of the diseases. We will welcome the attendees' suggestions of what they expect from Retina India, what would they want the organization to do in the short term as well as in the long term.
