Audio Books - Production of audio books of Text books and Guide books, on CDs/cassettes and make them available to all the blind students in colleges and schools , in Andhra Pradesh.
Braille Kits: Braille kits are distributed to blind students upto primary level in Andhra Pradesh Computer Skills: Supply free SAFA (Screen Access For All-Screen Reader Software) developed by NAB, Delhi and Multilingual Editor software, developed by IIT, Chennai and NVDA to Colleges and High Schools with blind students in Andhra Pradesh.
Employability of blind persons:
Audio books of study materials and model papers of various competitive examinations to blind candidates appearing for the examinations to get employment in Government, private and public sector.
Audio books are given to the libraries of different colleges. The students can collect from their college libraries itself. The recorded course material is in Telgu and English medium. Samrita Trust also sends CDs to students individually if they demand.
