Script Writing Workshop for Persons with Disability

Brotherhood and Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) are organizing Script Writing workshop for persons with disability from 29 September to 3 October 2009 at Marwah Studios Complex, FC 14/15, Film City, Sector 16A, Noida (U.P.) from 10 am to 4 p.m.

The purpose is to enhance the communication skill of the persons with disability so that they can learn to communicate issues and concerns related to disability through the medium of films and documentaries.

Brotherhood has been using the medium of films and documentaries for creating awareness about disability in schools, hospitals, community etc. and pioneer in organizing six such film festivals on disability issues in India.

We are inviting persons with disability from your institution to join this workshop on script writing.  Participants will be encouraged to write script during the workshop.  Organizers will make short film / documentaries on the scripts.  Appropriate credit will be given to the script writers.

Fee for the workshop is Rs.2,000/- inclusive all.  On completion of the workshop, certificate will be given to participants.  Cheque should be in the name of Brotherhood.

You are requested to nominate person(s) with disability or professionals working in the disability sector.  Total no. of seats will be 20. The students will be taught scriptwriting by interactive sessions and theory classes.

Seats will be allotted on first come first serve basis.  Last Date is 20 September 2009.
