The centre conducts various training programmes for the students as well as for outsiders such as: 1. English Language: English Language training focuses on spoken and written communication. The students work with our English Trainer on sentence construction, vocabulary building, essay writing etc. 2. Computer Use and Aapplications: Our Training and Development Officer conducts personalized computer courses based on the students' requirements.

Vidya Vrikshah brings computer-based education and skills, in all Indian languages, free of cost, to the visually impaired. The software package has been designed and developed by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Chennai, and has the facility whereby keyboard controls are provided to help visually impaired users to navigate the screen for entering or editing text that is already entered. Normal printouts for use by the sighted and Braille outputs for use by the visually impaired are possible in any Indian language or in English Braille.
