Blind Books

A project has been carried out in Maharashtra of donating 12000 Braille books to 50 schools scattered all over the State by the Society in general. These are actually 110 books with 110 copies each. The difference about these books is, all the books are done by volunteers who do not know Braille. These people have worked from their Home, on their own Computers, in their free time, without expecting any returns in any form what so ever.

The centre conducts various training programmes for the students as well as for outsiders such as: 1. English Language: English Language training focuses on spoken and written communication. The students work with our English Trainer on sentence construction, vocabulary building, essay writing etc. 2. Computer Use and Aapplications: Our Training and Development Officer conducts personalized computer courses based on the students' requirements.

Sanatan Dharam Institute for the Blind

Sanatan Dharam Institute for the Blind is working for the welfare of the Blind since 1952. It is run by the Sanatan Dharam Sabha (Regd.) Ambal Cantt. The S.D. Sabha (Regd.) Ambala is our parent body having over all control over the affairs of the institution.                                                               

Saksham Daksh School

Saksham Daksh School realized that children with multiple disability or children with blindness living in Noida were not able to take any benefits of these centres. During their interactions with special educators, they also realized that some children with blindness were already enrolled in the main stream schools but did not have access to any support services due to which they were facing a lot of difficulty and not able to get quality education in Noida region.
