Snehadeep Trust for the Disabled, a leading NGO  is organizing two days workshop on Awareness of various latest technological developments from the visually impaired's perspective on 11th and 12Th March 2023  at # 15, 6Th Cross, Hutchins Road, opp Apd Lingarapuram Bangalore 560084.
The aim of this workshop is to educate our visually impaired community on the latest technological developments which have become indispensable  in our daily routines.
AS technology keeps transforming, Following are the salient topics we are planning to cover in depth:
Booking cabs/Auto/Bikes  using Ola/Uber/Rapido apps
How to use GPS/map while you are commuting to understand your surroundings.
Ordering food/groceries online from various apps
How to utilise Digital payments mode such as UPI, creditcards, Debit cards and netbanking effectively.
Accessibility challenges and workarounds
All these techniques and learnings of the latest technology would definitely benefit all our visually impaired friends to lead an independent life and reduce dependence on others to a greater extent.
