Special Recruitment Drive for Persons with Disabilities

NPCIL a premier public sector enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India having  comprehensive capability in all facets of nuclear technology namely, Site Selection, Design, Construction, Commissioning, Operation, Maintenance, Renovation, Modernization & Upgradation, Plant Life extension, Waste Management and Decommissioning of Nuclear Reactors in India under one roof, invites applications for the post of Steno Gr. 1 to share these  challenging spectrum of responsibilities:

Post: Steno Gr. 1
No of posts: 02, out of which 01 for VH
Pay Band: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay: Rs. 2400/-
Age: 21-40 for gen., 21-43 for OBC, 21-45 for SC/ST

Educational qualification: A Bachelor's Degree in any subject with not less than 50% marks in aggregate.

Stenography proficiency: Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in English Stenography. Preference will be given to those candidates who possess knowledge of Hindi Stenography.

Typing proficiency: Minimum speed of 40 words per minute in English

 Typing on Personal Computer. Preference will be given to those candidates who possess knowledge of Hindi Typing.

Computer Proficiency: Candidates should have passed a certificate course of duration of not less than 6 months on MS WindowsOperating System and Desktop applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point) E-mail management and internet surfing.

Selection Criteria: Selection of candidates shall be based on performance in the Written examination, Stenography test, TypingTest on Personal Computer, Computer Proficiency Test and Personal Interview.

The application shall  accompany a Disability Certificate issued by the Appropriate authority regarding physical disability according to the Persons with Disabilitties (Equal opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Rules, 1996 notified on 31/12/1996
