Mitra Jyothi in collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. – Maitree, is organizing the next Advanced Computer Training Center (ACTC) for Visually Impaired. The training will be conducted in the premises of Mitra Jyothi at Bangalore. This will be a 40-45 days residential training program and will commence on Monday, 5^th August 2013 and end on Saturday, 14^th September 2012.

About Mitra Jyothi: 

Mitra Jyothi is a registered Charitable Trust formed in 1990. This trust is working for visually impaired and other persons with disabilities in their Education, Training and Employment. 

About TCS Maitree:

The course content is:

1. IT Infrastructure & Service Management 
2. Building competency for the Business Process Outsourcing   
3. Soft skills

Eligibility Criteria: 

1. Graduate in any stream. 
2. Candidates should have basic knowledge of Computers 
3. Knowledge of JAWS (screen reader software) is compulsory.
4. Good Communications Skills

Course Details:

1. Duration: 40-45 days (9 hours, Mon-Sat)
2. Fees: The course is free. Only 500 INR is collected as a refundable deposit from the candidates at the beginning of the course.

4. Accommodation & Food: Mitra Jyothi will provide dormitory accommodation & food at nominal fees of Rs. 1500
