Xavier’s Resource Centre for the Visually Challenged (XRCVC), St. Xavier’s College, as completed its 20 years of services on 17^th September, 2023. On reaching this important milestone, we have organized a series of 20 Tech Roshni sessions on different topics for persons with disabilities. On the eve occasion of White Cane Day.
We are happy to announce our 4^th online workshop on the theme “Let’s Explore Envision” for persons with blindness and low vision on 14^th October, 2023. This Workshop is supported by the Dhun Pestonji Parakh Discretionary Trust.
Envision empowers people who are blind or have low vision to access everyday visual information for themselves. It has Lots of features like Find People, Find Objects, Teach a Face and Explore, Describe Scene, Detect Light, Recognise Cash, Detect Colors, Instant Text etc. Because it isn’t just information. It’s knowledge, independence and possibility.
In the upcoming workshop, we will know more about Envision.
Eligibility: Participants should have good knowledge of phone gestures with screen reader and touch typing.

Criteria: Persons with print disabilities such as blind and low vision.
Date: October 14, 2023 (Saturday).
Time: 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
Venue: Online Session (Zoom conferencing platform)

Important Note:
1. Instructions to login will be sent by email on 13^th October 2023, Friday to the registered participants only.

3. Participants can use their personal earphones/headphones during the session.
4. After successful form submission, you will receive an acknowledgement email from google.
