Job Description:
 
To provide a global support function for global product mappings of data sets and services.
This involves the creation and maintenance of exchanges, contributed data, specialist services and news data on Restricted Data Set (RDS) and Product  Definition ( PDD) Databases.
 
This individual will act as the primary contact/problem owner on product  and permissioning related issues, this will involve the creation of products  and maintaining product mappings to existing services.
 
To plan and coordinate time management effectively to carry out multiple tasks and changing priorities delivering on time and to agreed quality.
 
To solve complex problems/queries and troubleshoot and is proactive in seeking improvements.
 
 To have basic knowledge of IDN head-end systems and various broadcast delivery systems.
 
To work with business units and analyze their business requirements and relay the information to Service Support Group at a data level.
 
To coordinate exchanges and specialist services moving to fee liability status.
 
To provide subject matter expertise on the launch of new  company data, product and service capabilities.
 
Implement effective change management controls to ensure that product changes required to production systems have no detrimental impact upon various  company products (IDN and Internet based), the network, or to customers.
 
Liaison with Product managers, Project managers, Implementation &  Support executives, Business Units, Development and Marketing groups to  ensure that  system & project requirements are fully understood and  delivered on time,  and as per requirements.
 
To contribute to the development and acceptance of new system  functionality and product enhancements, conducting user acceptance  testing  where required.
 
Provide product/system training to relevant internal personnel as required.
 
 Provide reporting function on system/product data as requested.
Ensure that routine administrative and procedural tasks are executed and completed as per requirements/timescales.
Ensure all requirements outlined in SLAs with customers are met.
Constantly drive quality inside the team.
To provide out of hours support when required.
 
 EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
 
Graduate in Commerce with IT Exposure and Good academic record.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS
 
Excellent communication /Analytical /Negotiation skills. 
IT Skills:  Prior experience in working with real-time databases,Good MS  Office skills, Team player who can demonstrate ability to work independently.
Enthusiastic and proactive approach.
Very well organized and practical approach.
Mature, flexible and positive attitude to demands of the job and working hours.
Self-motivated even when attending to routine tasks.
