Applications are invited for the post of Technician (Semi Skilled) erstwhile Labourer (Semi Skilled) from the citizens of India on the prescribed format only who are fulfilling qualitative requirements for the post as mentioned below:

Pay band: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 1800

Classification: General Central Service Gp 'C' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial

Period of  Probation: 02 years

Qualification essential: (i) Matriculation (10th class pass) from a recognized Board or equivalent. (ii) Industrial Training Institute Pass Certificate in trade viz. Painter, Pattern Maker, Turner & Machinist or 

its equivalent Defence Services Tradesman course approved as such by the Central or State Govt.

 

Age limit: Not exceeding 27 years

 

The post is also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons with category of disability OA, BL, Low Vision & Blind.

 

Application will be entertained only on the prescribed format Appendix 'A' along with Admit Card (in duplicate).  Applications should be forwarded to SQAO, Senior Quality Assurance Estt. (GS), DGQA Complex, LBS Marg, Vikhroli (W), Mumbai-400083.

 

Envelope containing application must be superscribed in bold letter "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TECHNICIAN (SS) ERST-WHILE LABOURER(SS)''.

 

One self addressed envelope (size approximately 25 cm x 10 cm), affixing Rs. 25/- amount of postal stamp, should be envlosed with the application form for sending call letter.

 

The photographs pasted on application form & Admit Cards should be attested by Gazetted Officer. Separate Application & Admit Card ( in duplicate) for separate category should be enclosed.
