Techshare India, 2008 – Breaking the Barriers is an accessibility conference-cum-exhibition that will highlight the needs of people with disabilities. It will showcase the role of technology in the lives of people with disabilities, looking not just at the web but also software, mobiles, standards, compliance and much more. Techshare bring together the entire ecosystem - the government, the corporates, the Non-Goverment Organisations, the disabled, the product companies and the education providers for the first time under one roof. It will help the ecosystem to envision their accessibility roadmap. It would create awareness about the education and training needs for the disabled. In addition, Techshare would provide a platform to experience people with disabilities working with assistive technology. Techshare offers workshops and presentations. In addition, it provides an opportunity to meet with other professionals working in this area from all over the world as well as browse the exhibition space.
